We’re soon (ish) going to have some lovely new charity pages on the Lush website. In the meantime, I thought I’d share some information on the charities and other causes we’ve supported over the last two years on this blog (which is still being developed, I’m getting there).
Since the launch of Charity Pot two years ago (April 2007), we have donated an amazing £267,498.73 to 58 charities and other good causes both here in the UK and overseas. Thank you all so much for buying the Charity Pot and making all this possible.
We decided to prioritise those charities which really struggle to secure funding, where relatively small donations make a huge difference. Therefore, many of our grants have gone to small, grassroots organisations and especially those working for causes which find it hard to raise funds.
