Sometimes, when you’re working for an international organisation and you really do need to meet your colleagues and your customers, you have to take a plane. However, in the UK we’ve banned internal flights, and for overseas flights we tax ourselves £50 per tonne of carbon dioxide emissions created by the flight and donate the money to environmental groups and organisations that will help to make a difference.
