Seven species of marine turtle swim our oceans and all are included on the World Conservation Union’s (IUCN) Red List of Endangered Species. We supported Marine Conservation Society’s important conservation work to prevent the extinction of marine turtle populations around the world. The MCS Marine Turtle Conservation Programme (MTCP) was set up in 2001 to engage in vital marine turtle conservation and research in the UK and overseas, while supporting projects around the world.
